My favorite Golden Globe Awards dresses of 2011!

Sandra Bullock, "A Blind-side Beauty" looked marvelous on the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards this year. This stunning 46-year-old actress wore a Jenny Packham evening gown on the carpet. She finished her extraordinary look with Jimmy Choo platform shoes. Any 46 year old that wears platform shoes and can make it look classy, is an A+. Also, Sandra walked through the crowd showing her new hair style that seems to be a very popular look for the year.

 

Anne Hathaway, the 28-year-old actress wore an amber tone Giorgio Armani Privé evening gown. The finale look from the Fall Winter 2010-2011 couture collection is fully embellished with paillettes and Swarovski crystals. The dress features dramatic shoulders, long fitted sleeves and a low open back.I loved her look and wish I had a formal coming up soon so I would have a reason to buy this dress! I think it is dashing and dazzling in every way.

FYI: Anne is also wearing Brian Atwood’s nude patent leather Santana pumps.

 

I loved watching the Golden Globe awards this year. Although I must say that Ricky Gervais should have not been the host. I'm not sure if any of you watched the Golden Globes, but his announcements and speeches were pretty rude. If you youtubed the event, you will hear some of the stuff he said. But other than Ricky being a harsh host, watching all the fashions was so great. Robert Patterson looked sharp, Leighton looked exquisite as usual... all the new stars this year just looked stunning without words. I would love to go to a red carpet event one day but who knows if that will ever come true. I'll just keep my fingers crossed. 

And I'm so sorry everyone that I haven't blogged in a week!!!! My schedule has been booked! I'm trying out for our tennis team and have been trying to practice all week! I've never been a sports girl. Fashion is more of my passion, but I figured I would give tennis a try. Most of my good friends play, and if I played, I thought it would be more convenient. Let's just say that I'm that girl that when a sports ball comes my way, I squeal and duck. Never really been talented in that field! But I'm working on that! I could always use a little extra exercise to keep fit....right? :) Well, I will be keeping up with blogging this week. I missed it last week but I'll try and make time for a little blogging this week even if it is a bit of a hassle. ;)
